As the facilities, you will work on projects that enable the heart of our client’s manufacturing in

In this role you will work on the client’s behalf to edit client specifications, review and provide feedback/comments on designs, specs, and drawings. As the electrical engineering representative on a multi-discipline design team, your primary duties will be to review design packages focused on Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls deliverables prepared by others.

Your responsibilities will include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage controls and communications systems in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations (including, but not limited to global subledger to general ledger reconciliations) for all entities in scope
• Preparation of journal entries as a part of the close and other month end closing related activities
• Performing monthly variance analysis
• Maintaining fixed assets (creation, disposals, transfers)
• Providing documentation and preparing schedules to support both internal and external audits and SOX requirements

Jacobs is currently seeking a GBS GL Accounting Manager to work in a dynamic, challenging environment who will cultivate and deliver excellence in Jacobs’ Corporate Accounting Group. We’re looking for a team player with the desire to be an active, long-term contributor in the growth of the accounting teams and organization overall.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review schedules, journal entries, account reconciliations and fluxes related to legal fees and settlements
• Attend and participate in legal review meetings.
• Responsible for meeting minutes to distribute to group, following up on action items and status updates of legal matters
• Work with sensitive and confidential data
• Review and approve journal entries for the company’s LPP/LTIP and cash incentives, including adjustments related to annual incentive payouts.
• Oversee account reconciliations and variance analyses for stock-based compensation transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review and validate ESPP and share repurchase schedules.
• Assess and approve account reconciliations and variance analyses associated with deferred compensation transactions.
• Support SOC1 testing for stock-based comp and deferred compensation.
• Assist in conducting SOX testing for stock-based and deferred compensation.
• Assist in reviewing 10-K/10-Q disclosures and footnotes related to stock-based and deferred compensation.
• Support the review of compensation tables in the Proxy statement.

As a GBS Accounting Manager, you’ll regularly and successfully engage in:

• Participating in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for global accounting activities and continuous improvement process including automation and acceleration
• Reading, understanding, following, and testing the applicable process narratives pertaining to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements and technical accounting
• Providing support as needed to external auditors
• Preparing ad hoc reports and analyses

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the design team in project execution
• Manage the setup, development, configuration, establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use
• Setup and manage BIM documentation for internal and external use
• Setup BIM design and review models and multidisciplinary coordination
• Support on BIM specific processes and procedures where required
• Perform QA/QC checks on the model assemblies
• Cooperation with engineers and designers of other disciplines
• Supporting other team members in their development
• Be the main point of contact and the authority of BIM on a project, including providing leadership and guidance on the project

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file UK Statutory Financial Statements for multiple group companies.
• Extract and compile financial information from various sources to prepare comprehensive year-end UK-based financial statements.
• Ensure all financial statements are accurate and comply with relevant accounting standards (US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS).
• Organize and manage the year-end audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all requests.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Prepare annual statutory journals.
• Ongoing statutory reviews and booking of adjustments and reclassifications needed to comply with local accounting and tax laws,
• Completion of country specific statutory and statistical reporting,
• Work directly with various stakeholders including the Jacobs Tax and GL Teams and Jacobs’ Auditors in dealing with audit queries,
• As part of the wider finance team, the job may also involve other tasks including account reconciliations and working with GL team on an ad hoc basis.
