Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs general/preventive maintenance tasks necessary to keep vehicles and assigned equipment in operable condition.

• Respond to utility locate requests from Colorado 811 affecting the traffic signal and ITS infrastructure, including performing after-hours, on-call field locates.

• Perform traffic signal and ITS maintenance and construction services, including but not limited to the following: preventative maintenance, device replacement and/or upgrade, and new device installation.

• Respond to inquiries or emergencies related to traffic signal operations, including performing after-hours, on-call services to address signal malfunctions.

• Maintain a comprehensive, current knowledge of applicable policies, procedures, codes, and regulations.

• Effectively communicate with management, employees, other departments, the public and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems.

• Assist the City Traffic Engineer in construction inspection and quality assurance for capital projects related to traffic signal and ITS improvements

• Support the Traffic Operations Coordinator and other staff as needed in the operation and maintenance of the traffic signal and ITS system, including but not limited to the following: collecting as-built information; maintaining an asset inventory and database; working with GIS to incorporate information into a geospatial database.

• Performs other similar duties as assigned.

The Principal Design Manager – Dams must have a good understanding in managing complex engineering design packages relating to the design of dam safety upgrades, new dams, and all associated works to support an overall dam safety program.

We have a diverse base of water clients across the region and this role will contribute to setting and implementing strategy and capability for this client base, with support from our global technical leads.

Responsibilities:

is responsible for providing consultancy, engineering services, technical input and direction in design in the ANZ region. The role will include taking a lead role with design, project delivery and winning work and for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services.

You will support management of the Water Infrastructure Western Team, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the water infrastructure portfolio.

You will be required to interface with GID delivery centres in order to improve delivery capability meet targets. You will keep abreast of new methods, technologies and developments impacting Jacobs in order to recommend change to current or new direction by tracking and contributing to industry developments, thus ensuring Jacobs is applying the latest technical developments.

You will help drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next strategic opportunities and support the winning of those opportunities. Through regular industry participation, you will develop and maintain strong key client relationships, identify emerging opportunities with clients and act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients, representing the Water Infrastructure team at key thought leadership events.

In your role as a Senior Associate Bridge Engineer your technical skills in transport structures will be of key importance. You will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking both your project responsibilities and design tasks. You will be capable of leading the structures discipline on major transport projects in the road and rail environments , developing, designing, and facilitating the documentation of complex structural engineering solutions to exceed client expectations. Your focus will be in the areas of infrastructure design, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior members of the team, delivering outputs and packages for multidisciplinary projects.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Transport and wider Jacobs team across multiple disciplines, including mentoring of less experienced staff, providing inputs to tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. You will be involved in a range of project delivery models across design only, D&C and Alliance based contracts. You will also integrate into the Transport Structures team, supporting the team initiatives and being fully inclusive of team members in other geographies.
