Join us as the Manager - HRBP for Vandyke Electric Powertrain Center (VEPC) – where you'll lead a transformative HR organization in a dynamic and unionized environment. This is a powertrain facility dedicated to the electrification of Ford Motor Company with 1800 people. You will align HR functions with strategic business objectives, working closely with Plant Leadership and central HR teams to deliver advanced HR solutions that enhance the employee experience and drive business success. Your expertise in union relations and employee engagement will be crucial in developing a high performing workplace that enhances both employee satisfaction and operational excellence. You will work closely with Plant Management and union leadership to drive transformational and strategic initiatives, ensuring our workforce is empowered and equipped to achieve our production goals.

You will be responsible for leading change efforts within the plant to meet global manufacturing standards. You will support employees by removing barriers to their success and developing their knowledge, skills, and abilities. You’ll champion the manufacturing process by ensuring the implementation of world-class maintenance systems.

In this position...

You will be responsible for “depth and breadth” on all shifts/crews within a department, delivering all department scorecard objectives, owning processes (e.g., constraint management/VRT), standardization across all workstations within the area, planning change, determining continuous improvement opportunities, and serving as a change agent to drive the Ford Production System.

The hourly rated positions available at Ford Motor Company manufacturing or warehousing facilities are for vehicle or vehicle component assembly. The production worker is required to assemble the vehicle or component part using the materials and tools provided in a predefined order and process. These positions may require the selection, manipulation, attachment of parts onto the vehicle or component using power or hand tools, hoists, or other equipment and machinery.

Rate of Pay and Benefits:

• Starting wage rate at $21.00 per hour plus applicable shift or crew premiums

• The National PPO plan is provided at no monthly premium to the employee.
