In this role, the Casting Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor will provide leadership for powertrain and structural castings from the initial concept and development through product launch. Your team will work with Product Development and Suppliers, to successfully develop and launch next-generation structural high pressure die castings. Successful candidates will have a proven record of leadership and product launch experience with the development and implementation of complex castings.
This team will be focused on both the cast and trim tooling necessary for high pressure die casting. This includes the development of tooling standards, development of both casting and trim tooling designs, and the equipment and processes to maintain and repair both cast and trim dies. In this role, you will also have the responsibility to lead and develop a team. This process is a new to Ford manufacturing process and must combine both technical and leadership capabilities to drive success. Ideal candidates must navigate and drive change in a complex internal environment, challenging the status quo as we define an all-new way of manufacturing vehicles.
