Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrated experience implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll in a New Zealand context.
  • Deep understanding of NZ payroll legislation, processes, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in HRIS/Payroll transformation projects, ideally within consulting or large enterprise environments.
  • A relevant Degree or Qualification in Business/Commerce, HR, HR Technology, or Information Systems.
  • Experience working with different HR/Payroll systems and HR processes including process review and design.
  • Certification in SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll at a minimum.
  • Worked in a lead / senior capacity for a minimum 5 end-to-end SuccessFactors implementations.

  • Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics, and be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CAANZ, or an international equivalent. Have at least 5 years of experience in a professional services or chartered accounting environment, or in a financial performance and analysis or mergers & acquisitions role at a corporate organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop, build, and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams, both external and internal. Experience working with senior stakeholders on multiple engagements in a Transaction Diligence role or mergers and acquisitions environment.
  • A keen interest in understanding businesses, transactions, and deal value drivers. Passion for client service excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to grasp complex issues and explain them clearly to non-accountants.

The salary range for this role is NZD 116,000 to NZD 125,000 dependent on skills, experience, and work location. The full-time role is for a minimum 37.5 hours per week.
