Manager - Indirect Tax
As our Indirect Tax Specialist, you’ll be working with global and local well-known organizations to advise them of their Indirect Tax obligations.

Application Support Specialists

Your key responsibilities
• Act as a point of contact between the client and the application support center
• Monitor jobs, production processes, systems availability, latency and overall system health
• Create Incidents / Service Requests /Problem ticket and assign to teams
• Create application incident reports
• Perform initial analysis and resolution for the layers defined in scope
• Establish understanding of application, platform layers defined in scope
• Analyze, identify issues, conduct investigation of functional/technical bugs, service failures, operational
problems and provide acceptable workaround or resolutions to identified issues/defects
• Escalate further to L3 within a reasonable period with analysis and findings
• Triage, resolve, and conduct RCA
• Handle major incidents and joined SWAT calls
• Identification, classification, prioritization, and remediation of system issues
• Produce reports on defect/problem reporting data
• Build tools or establish processes to quickly triage issues and discover failures across the technology stack
• Analyze service performance and implement adjustments to mitigate risk and/or prevent issue recurrence
• Create and update support knowledge database
• Lead the documentation process for overall application support

• Work and closely collaborate with client teams (business and IT) as well as 3rd party vendors on a regular• Provide responses to functional / technical queries,

Must Have:
• Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on Unix/Linux, Java environments
• Proficient in Java and able to go into code to investigate and fix issues
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or similar, can read scripts or do scripting, and know the key commands
• Hands-on experience with Azure services like Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Azure storage, App Services, Azure Key Vault, Azure monitor, Log analytics and network watcher
• Good understanding of MQ/Kafka
• Able to create/update SQL queries to analyze/extract data
• Experience with tools such as Control-M or similar for job monitoring
• Good knowledge of APIs

• Knowledge of Derivatives or Equity Trade is preferred

Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
• Building relationships with key corporate groups, lenders and financial sponsors, ARC’s, legal advisors and other participants in the stressed assets space
• Analyzing the financial and operational positioning of stressed corporates to proactively generate leads for opportunities
• Building a healthy pipeline of opportunities and mandates in the specific areas related to, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, debt restructuring across various sectors especially those witnessing high levels of stressed assets (infrastructure, metals, real estate, telecom, highways etc.)
• Coordinating pitch presentations to obtain new mandates from lenders and investors
• Lead execution of transactions including day to day management and Project management and monitoring a team of [Managers] and Associates
• Business Modeling and Plan Development and an ability to analyze and envisage new / key sector trends
• Financial Modeling and Analysis – developing materials including Information, Memorandum, financial model, presentations, resolution plans including preparation of rectification/restructuring/SDR package-based business plans.

• Work with legal advisor for finalization of transaction documentation including term sheets (non-binding / binding) and definitive transaction agreements
• Keep abreast of new developments in the profession, the business, the industry and the regulatory environment, including Insolvency regulation and developments in the restructuring space
• Credit monitoring of clients, review of operational and financial performance, cash flows, etc. to proactively suggest strategic options including JV / partnerships, acquisitions or divestitures

Qualification
MBA from a premier institute (Tier-I Indian B-school) with experience in transaction advisory, commercial due diligence, and strategy verticals will be preferred
· 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience
· Preferred - Investment Banks, M&A teams of large Banks, NBFCs or Insurance companies and have successfully closed deals, Private Equity / Venture Capital firms
