What we are looking for:

  • Broad understanding of cash and treasury management products
  • Experience as a team lead/supervisor.
  • Prior experience gained within financial services or investment banking OR within a large AP/AR team
  • Able to demonstrate strong experience and performance in client facing roles, preferably within a similar client servicing function
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization and team skills
  • Knowledge of payment formatting, liquidity structures (zero balancing and sweeping), European payrolls and direct debit processes

Role Description:

This job is responsible for managing complex to high-risk cross-functional and/or inter-departmental programs or projects for Line of Business products, processes, functions, and employee readiness. Key responsibilities include partnering with the business to develop a plan to sustain change, evaluate current methods, and drive strategies to implement changes/improvements. Job expectations include serving as the primary point of contact to department managers for critical change initiatives, using tools to document program performance, and influencing stakeholders to make strategic changes.

Responsibilities:

• Works with Corporate Treasury global partners, front to back, to define a strategic transformation plan for making our processes cleaner, simpler, and better.

• Defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key project roles and oversees the execution of defined programs and/or project tasks through tracking of deliverables and their statuses, developing project plans, and measuring progress against ongoing key performance indicators

• Leads the adoption and sustainment of change initiatives and assesses adoption risks

• Leads remediation requirements documentation efforts based on identified gaps and controls needed for sustained performance

• Leads and plans programs and projects using appropriate tools and techniques, including Technology platforms used by client facing employees, change management tools, and risk and issue management tools to ensure efficient and effective project completion

• Develops, maintains, and reports on an overall integrated delivery plan, raising any risks, developing a mitigation plan, and escalating issues appropriately to respective stakeholders

Responsibilities

The Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) is responsible for pursuing treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio with a mix of existing and prospect clients. The TSO works closely with Corporate Banking, Global Payment Solutions colleagues as well as key Product Management partners (including cash management, FX, card, trade and liquidity) to identify solutions that best suit our client’s needs. You will have daily face-to-face or phone interactions with their existing clients and prospects.

Role activities and responsibilities may include:

  • Primary relationship and GPS sales responsibility for a portfolio of existing and prospect clients headquartered the US, alongside European subsidiaries
  • Develop existing client relationships to advance business opportunities and close deals
  • Understand client objectives for transaction banking and other cash and treasury related services, effectively match bank resources and capabilities against client requirements to develop business opportunities deliver incremental revenue
  • Ensure complete alignment in client selection and growth strategies with Corporate Banking colleagues
  • Design, write and present proposals/cash management solutions to existing and prospect clients
  • Delivery of revenue and new business pipeline in accordance with defined and agreed goals
  • Ensure full observance of and adherence to applicable compliance and other regulatory requirements and guidelines
  • Provide client and market feedback to management and business partners, including for product development and enhancement
  • Act as a liaison with Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Credit and Risk, Compliance, Product Management, Client Delivery & Service, Implementation and Operations

What we are looking for

  • Required familiarity of Ireland financial landscape, GPS knowledge and European international treasury management experience and product knowledge
  • Successful history of direct treasury management experience, treasury management sales (including but not limited to, cash management, liquidity strategies, commercial cards, foreign exchange, working capital and trade)
  • Demonstrates the ability to foster partnerships within the core team and build rapport with client contacts
  • Effectively manages competing priorities in an organized fashion while maintaining a consistent level of client satisfaction
  • Engage all internal partners for sales opportunities
  • Effectively manages risk while balancing the needs of the client, the team and the bank
