Sr. Risk Manager - Modeling and Advanced Data Insights

Responsibilities:

• Understanding, documenting and analyzing current state capabilities regarding one or more risk management processes. Leverage industry benchmarking to determine best practices and lessons learned regarding components of the Risk framework.

• Utilizing risk data for insights to form strategic visions and enhance risk practices

• Problem solve and deliver solutions in a complex and changing environment, aligning effective risk management outcomes with the pace of enterprise business initiatives

• Communicate strategies and visions to influence customers, partners, and stakeholders through delivering presentations that aid in the design, development, refinement, and usage of AML functions such as transaction monitoring, risk rating, and reporting processes

• Leverage technology and product mindset to contribute to the acceleration of our compliance tech transformation journey

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience

• At least 6 years of financial services risk management experience

• At least 5 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in risk

• 7+ years of Financial Services risk management experience

• Ability to set direction, manage expectations and lead cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in risk management data, typologies, and methodologies

McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr. Risk Manager Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr. Risk ManagerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
