Jacobs has provided professional services to the Australian Department of Defence since 1997. Our services include strategic advisory services, capability development, program and project management, acquisition and sustainment support, commercial management, and training development.
We are looking forSenior Project Manageryou will be responsible for leading diverse teams, overseeing the project delivery of defence projects across the full project lifecycle from the initial strategic planning phase through construction delivery and completion. You will also be experienced in managing the project strategy, governance, reporting, financials and commercials aspect of the project.
It is an essential requirement of these roles that applicants must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (hold Australian Citizenship - )
- Tertiary qualifications in a construction-related field
- Lead and manage complex infrastructure projects and/or programs
- Extensive years of project management experience (ideally client-side/consulting)
- Proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is preferable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Have a good understanding of managing complex engineering design packages
