Your key responsibilities

As a manager, you will:

• Deliver high quality actuarial work products and services to the clients within agreed timelines.
• Lead and deliver a variety of actuarial assignments such as –
  • AXIS / Prophet model development for various Life and Annuity products
  • Model conversions from legacy system to AXIS / Prophet platform.
  • Quality assurance and model production support
  • Actuarial transformation and process automation projects
• Review work done by junior members, ensuring quality of work product during time sensitive deadlines.
• Enable the development of broader technical skills within the team and mentor junior team members.
• Deliver engagements in line with our values and commitment to quality, consistently driving projects to completion.
• Manage team, priorities, work plans, and report chargeable hours.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Communicate results of analyses, work progress updates, and challenges effectively to clients, stakeholders, and project managers.

Position Requirements

• Qualified or nearly qualified Life actuary from IFoA /SoA or equivalent
• 8+ years Life Actuarial experience with minimum 4 years in actuarial modeling
• Expertise in actuarial modeling – Moody’s AXIS or Prophet
• Knowledge of US Life / Annuity products, regulations and STAT/GAAP reporting.
• Experience on PBR /LDTI / IFRS 17 implementation or actuarial transformation preferred.
• Experience in VBA/R/Python/SQL preferred.
• Project management experience and ability to handle teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, execution and people management skills
• Proficient in report writing and documentation.
• Ability to inspire confidence & create trust by effectively building relations with clients.
