Your Role and Responsibilities
- Own a specific product area within Turobnomic, including becoming a technical SME. This includes pricing, packaging and go to market activities.
- Work with customers and our field to identify necessary improvements to existing functionality, as well as define new functionality to maximize customer adoption andbusinessvalue with the product.
- Work with development and testing teams to define clear, accomplishable requirements for new public cloud functionality.
- Manage UI/UX design process assuring all functionality developed is easy to use and clearly articulates its value to customers.
- Use a combination of customer usage data and market research to prioritize new functionality into an aggressive roadmap that balances new functionality, improvements and technical debt.
- Ensure field teams have the content and context necessary to help customers leverage all functionality (new and existing) in your defined area.
- Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 7+ years of experience working with any of the following:
- Container Platforms (Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure as Code / DevOps Tooling
- 5+ years of productmanagementexperience managing enterpriseITsolutions (infrastructure, monitoring,management, maintenance etc)
- Demonstrated experience driving product ownership and growth
- Experience in ProductManagementwith an technical/engineering background
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 7+ years of productmanagementexperience managing enterpriseITproducts (infrastructure, monitoring,management, maintenance etc)
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- On-Premise Virtualization (Hypervisors, Storage, Network)
- Proven experience driving large product growth on a cloud focused platform or product
- Keen understanding of enterprise best practices of cloudmanagement– tagging, resourcing, provisioning, scaling, and optimizing
- A deep understanding of the cloud industry trends and technology stacks (nosql, app service environments, serverless, containers)
- Insight into how to delight enterpriseITusers who are invested in the public cloud technology stack and are struggling with scale, manageability, complexity, cost, and performance issues
