Your key responsibilities
- Oversight and risk management of the build and execution of marketing automation campaigns, including approval of workflows.
- Oversight of the process of coordinating and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure all relevant content, assets and target audience parameters are received for campaign execution.
- Management of the reporting framework for Marketo including regular reporting to key stakeholders on the performance of marketing activities including both RSVPs and website performance.
- Overall management of the project and compliance frameworks used by the team, ensuring risk is properly mitigated.
- Developing new flows and procedures for new uses of Marketo e.g., Nurture trails, consent management, data hygiene maintenance,
- Ensuring system updates, new processes and new governance are communicated, understood, and followed by team members and key stakeholders.
- Ensure that all external campaigns and online content support the firm’s brand and business strategy and follow risk and quality safeguards set by EY.
- Ensure the teams activity stays within the guidelines of GDPR and other regulations in place in our markets.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and developments by conducting research, engaging in training, building relationships with partners, and participating in industry learnings and webinar (lunch & learn, etc.).
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience with marketing automation platform preferably in Adobe Marketo Engage.
- Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices is a must, including marketing automation concepts, such as lead generation, customer journey, lead nurturing, etc.
- Awareness of Marketo API to co-ordinate between technical teams.
- Proven strong interpersonal with an analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
- Familiarity with Agile planning and Agile project management skills.
- Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
- Must be highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Microsoft SharePoint
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A university degree or college diploma in Digital Marketing or a related field.
- Min. 10 years of experience in Digital/email marketing Strategic, coordination support role.
- Strong project coordination skills, including managing internal stakeholder expectations and multiple campaigns at once.
- Must be a detail-oriented, organized self-starter who can work well within a team, and excel in a fast-paced corporate environment, whilst being able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to review processes and make suggestions for automation.
- Solid technical skills and expertise with email campaign deployments.
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal and must be comfortable with presenting to virtual teams.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Functional knowledge of AEM will be an added advantage for this role.
- Familiarity with complex, multi-national organizations is highly preferred.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions in MA platform.
- Adherence to data integrity rules (such as GDPR, CANSPAM) is a must. Specialist knows his customer journeys well-enough to identify every possible opportunity or data breach and the need for appropriate security and get measures in place to safeguard it.
