Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering AND 7+ years of experience in engineering, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional, business-critical program management, especially in strategy, planning, and decision-making environments.

  • 4+ years of people management experience.

  • 2+ years of experience working with critical facilities' physical infrastructure.

While not required, we also look for the following
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in planning cloud-specific infrastructure.

  • Ability to communicate and present complex analysis at executive levels for alignment and decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive projects, build buy-in, and gain support.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft’s regional data center and network architecture.

  • Languages: English (native/bilingual/very high proficiency).

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Responsibilities
  • Support and manage a high-performing team of diverse and geographically distributed individuals responsible for creating region designs for APAC Azure Regions.

  • Lead and drive decision-making processes, ensuring timely and effective outcomes across partner teams and align with shared goals.

  • Navigate deep technical complexities while contributing to high-level strategic discussions and decisions.

  • Create impact beyond specific regions of responsibility by supporting the evolution of design principles and the maturation of the business.

  • Nurture and build the technical capabilities of the direct team while coaching and supporting partner teams in optimal infrastructure design.

  • Build relationships and networks across CO+I, Azure Core, and field MCAP teams to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Stay updated with relevant industry developments to inform and improve design practices.

  • Exemplify Microsoft leadership behaviors, such as Model, Coach, and Care, in all interactions.
