In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience in Designing, developing and maintaining Distributed streaming applications using Java, J2EE, Spring frame works.
• Design and develop custom solutions, plugins, and workflows within the Calypso platform
• Customize Calypso for various business modules: front office, middle-office or back-office functions
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Integrate Calypso with internal and external systems.
• Maintain and enhance Calypso configuration (products, workflows, engines, messaging, and reports)
• Work closely with QA teams to support testing and validation
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support for Calypso environments
• Participate in upgrades, patching, and system performance tuning
• Good knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Unix, Linux, Shell scripts, batch scripts
• Understanding of CICD tools like Jenkins and Udeploy
• Knowledge of Calypso upgrade process
• Strong knowledge of capital markets products: FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit Derivatives, Repos, OTC Derivatives will be added advantage.
• Good to have: OpenShift, Kafka, Kubernetes, Automation frameworks

Job Expectations:

• Good knowledge and exposure of front to back trade life cycle events for Fixed income Trading and primarily on Asset backed finance.
• Good Communication and presentation skills
• Manage multiple Jira items and ownership of post-production delivery.
• Drive and own story/feature with all SDLC processes.
