As a Fund Accounting Associate within the JP Morgan Fund Accounting Team, you will haveresponsible for addressing shareholder and fund promoter queries via telephone, fax, or email regarding fund services and procedures. The role includes sending daily reports to fund promoters, releasing contract notes and statements, and responding to audit queries. It requires providing quick, accurate responses and directing complex queries to the appropriate teams. Additionally, the team manages outgoing queries, reviews daily open items for follow-up and closure, and coordinates complex queries with internal and external stakeholders


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a relationship with the Transfer Agency Operations Oversight team to ensure effective collaboration and escalation when needed.
  2. Address Transfer Agency investor service inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  3. Have a thorough understanding of the client's/investor's culture and relevant fund structures.
  4. Engage with the Transfer Agency Operations Service Delivery Manager for effective communication and take ownership of issue resolution using operational knowledge.
  5. Implement necessary controls to meet service delivery standards for handling investor inquiries.
  6. Reduce financial/reputational risk by adhering to appropriate controls and procedures in line with regulatory requirements or company policies.
  7. Foster an effective, interactive relationship with internal TA Operations Managers and collaborate with the entire JPM Transfer Agency Operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrated experience in the Financial Services/Funds industry (ideally Transfer Agency)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Team player, professional and proactive approach to work, positive attitude, remain poised under pressure, client service focus and ability to adapt to change
  • Able to understand technical, procedural and functional information to solve problems and deliver information to investors
  • Client centricity with focus on high quality service delivery
