JOB DESCRIPTION

Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including Diagnoses, repairs faults, programming and commissioning in various controls systems across (but not limited to) HVAC, BMS and Access Control.

Delivery of Service Projects; including design, documentation, procurement, programming and commissioning.

Navigate and interrogate Control System Interfaces.

Estimates materials costs and quantities

Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives

Reporting near misses, incidents and other opportunities for improvement

Plan and document maintenance and repair activity as per contractual requirements and relevant guidelines, legislation and codes

Participation in onsite roster to ensure appropriate site coverage as per contractual compliance including afterhours roster

Retention and updating of maintenance and repair documentation

Effective interaction with Help Desk

Ensure clean and tidy plant rooms and maintenance areas

Key Experience & Capabilities:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.

Intermediate computer skills

Electrical experience: - Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching

Instrumentation experience – Knowledge of instrumentation devises and control applications

Access Controls experience – knowledge of access controls is beneficial

Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management systems and procedures

Good communication - both verbal and written

Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision

The ability to work under pressure

Full driver’s license required and can travel to sites outside of Dunedin at times (Queenstown, Christchurch etc)
