• Having an adequately staffed and appropriately skilled team that works cohesively with stakeholders across the First, Second and Third Lines of Defense

• Having simple and effective oversight and operating routines and tools that are embedded in day-to-day risk management across First and Second of Defense

• Effectively utilizing technology and data to assess operational risk and adherence to the framework

• Partnering with the First Line of Defense through consultation

Responsibilities:

• Support Head ORM Assurance in identifying opportunities for use of Data Analytics and drive its deployment in both informing as well as executing Operational Risk Management's (ORM's) Book of Work (Annual Plan)

• Use of Data Analytics tools and techniques to undertake periodic refresh of Annual Plans, maintenance of Coverage Maps and also undertake Operational Risk Analytics in identifying hot spots using large volume of data and tools such as SAS, Python etc.

• Engage with the Global ORM teams to identify and promote the use of data analytical procedures and Computer Assisted Auditing Tools & Techniques (CAATTs) to meet the ORM's 2 LOD Challenge objectives.

• Be an ambassador in driving use of data analytics within ORM and provide coaching to wider ORM team in using Data Analytics

• Establishes and oversees the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years experience as Data Analyst in Internal Audit, Compliance Assurance, Risk Assurance etc.

• Strong knowledge and experience in use of data analytics software and coding languages such as Python, SAAS, SQL

• Working knowledge and experience in use of data visualization tools such as Tableau

• Experience in application of data science in an Audit, Risk or Compliance Function.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

• Relevant certifications in Data Analytics
