Spend at least 50% of the time as Lead Trainer, delivering classes encompassing Tesla Energy products, tools, and safety best practices.
Lead the creation and vetting of new content in partnership with the Technical Publications team.
Serve as the single point of contact for tool forecasting, building, and QC for global teams.
Act as a conduit between the tooling and field service teams.
Work with vendors and the global supply chain team to establish and maintain the tool build plan and schedule.
Support service process development efforts for current and next-generation Tesla Energy products.
Ability to travel to commissioning sites, vendor sites, containment/service sites, and Gigafactories 10-15% of the time.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong ability to effectively lead classes of 10 with crisp delivery of material. Prior instructor experience is strongly preferred.
2-4 years of proven experience working on BESS and HV products.
2-4 years of experience with product/tool release and change control.
2-4 years of general electrical-mechanical design and manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of CAD/FEA/PDM is a big plus.
Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, signal generators, etc.).
Well-versed in QC fundamentals.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders across program management, field support, customers, EHS, technical publications, service engineering, product design, etc.
