What skills and qualifications do I need?
- 2-5+ years of experience as a managing editor.
- Experience managing a large set of freelance writers and editors.
- Familiarity with the US business products domain.
- Experience creating or editing content based on SEO concepts and best practices.
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple topics and strong project management skills.
- Experience working with content management systems.
- Experience in combining journalistic writing with financial needs.
- Ability to understand and adjust editorial to match selected brands and publishers.
As a Content Editor, Small Business, you will:
- Manage an external writing team and assign articles to each writer according to their specialty.
- Edit for clarity, comprehensiveness, factual accuracy and the cadence of the site.
- Work with editors at major publishing houses in the US.
- Collaborate daily with the SEO team, project managers, client managers and more.
- Build and develop a team of expert, freelance writers.
- Maintain an editorial calendar.

The pay range for this position in New York is $70,000 - $110,000. The pay offered may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
