In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role:
As an Architect, you'll be a key contributor in designing, developing, testing, and supporting architectural solutions that empower clients on their hybrid cloud and AI journeys. You'll work with the latest technologies to build secure, scalable, and maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, security, and networking, in an agile, project-driven environment.
- Lead the execution of proof-of-concept projects to evaluate new technologies and solutions.
- Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing architectural strategies and practices.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define and align implementation strategies and roadmaps.
- Identify potential risks and define mitigation strategies, supporting their implementation.
- Drive the development and improvement of processes, procedures, and best practices for technical excellence.
- Continuously learn and adopt new methodologies and technologies.
- Engage in technical reviews and discussions to foster innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, including services such as IAM, VPC, S3, and CloudTrail.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including its security features, network policies, secret management, and RBAC.
- Proficiency with Docker and containerization technologies, including
- Docker Compose and Kubernetes integration.
- Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible and Packer.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of artifact management solutions like Artifactory.
- Understanding of code quality and security analysis tools like Sonarqube.

- Certifications related to cloud platforms and security are a plus.
- Experience delivering proof-of-concept assignments and supporting execution with GitPod.
- Familiarity with GitPod and its integration into development workflows.
- Monthly salary for this position is from 5100 EUR gross to 6700 EUR gross*.
