Job Description

This role requires passion to drive execution of Technology Projects under Trade Transformation Programs, working with Operations, Technology, and Product partners to coordinate and facilitate end-to-end delivery of various initiatives. Focus on key strategic initiatives to drive results and realize RoI for Trade Services, and Working Capital products along with effective traction of benefits delivery across all the regions. The role requires strong system analysis and MIS skills to drive initiatives/projects, strong presentation skills to demonstrate innovation solutions & program status to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects.
• Assess creation of project plan, charter, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
• Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents.
• Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand project schedule and key milestones..
• Escalate project risks to the Project Director, or Project Sponsor, when appropriate.
• Ensure vendor performance is monitored and actions taken if performance warrants.
• Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge / Experience:

• 12-15 years of experience in Operations/Technology roles working within a Global team with comprehensive knowledge of TTS Trade Operations & Technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Project management/co-ordination and/or Project Implementation/Commercialization experience with Agile methodology
• Understanding of Trade processes and Systemic Process flows

• Ability to confidently manage and supervise outsourced service providers
