What You Will Do
As part of the Government Trust & Technology Services (GTTS) team you:
- Will develop and maintain applications and scripts, to support daily operation of internal IT infrastructure and processes used by our team and enhance user experience.
- Work directly with a team of highly experienced technical experts in multiple technologies including Cisco Routing, Switching, Data Center, Collaboration, Security as well as extensive software environment and 3rd party hardware.
Who You Are
In addition to your ability to work as a team member in a collaborative environment, you possess:
- Ability to think and operate independently.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, to communicate effectively.
- Fluent German and English languages in speaking and writing.
Technical Expertise Required
- Software development skills using common programming languages (Python, PowerShell , Bash.)
- Interacting with API endpoints
- Operating databases and database servers
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Must be willing to learn on the job and expand knowledge of implementing and supporting technologies and products used as required.
Experience with any of the following will be beneficial but not essential
- Knowledge of common Cisco technologies and hardware platforms.
- Virtualization (like VMware vSphere, and Nutanix NCI)
- Our internal IT infrastructure consists of a diverse mix of hardware and software including but not limited to Cisco technologies.
