Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a computing relevant topic, or Juris Doctor (or equivalent international degree) with specialization in regulation, privacy, government affairs, or technology.
• Significant experience in support, consulting, audit or communications work relevant to degree disciplines (some combination of technology, law, regulation, privacy). Experience as a professional service (i.e., external) auditor is relevant.
  
  • or experience equivalent to the above.
• Fully fluent in English in a business setting.

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Microsoft Cloud offerings and in particular their compliance and privacy aspects or with cloud adoption risk assessments for any hyper-scale cloud service.
  
• Familiarity with professional service contract and statements of work.
  
• Experience preparing customer ready documentation on complex topics.

• Own assigned customer and regulator issues associated with cloud regulatory compliance, privacy, data location and other common issues.
• Interact with Microsoft leadership during escalated customer issues impacting customers.
• Standardize compliance solutions into repeatable approaches.
• Prepare excellent documentation that exists at the intersection of regulatory requirements and technical features.
• Handle other proactive projects as assigned related to compliance, privacy, regulatory affairs or data governance.
