JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing advanced engineering projects, driving innovation, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions that address our customers' needs. Your technical expertise and project management skills will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects.

You will report directly to our Director Engineering, Electric Power and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON location.

In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of advanced engineering projects, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support development of Electronic Hardware for Electric Power applications by providing Technical Leadership, performing project planning, and managing execution over the complete design lifecycle (concept to entry in production and service).

  • Estimation development and analysis
  • Cost development
  • Budget analysis
  • Metric development/reporting
  • Risk/OPP development and management
  • Supplier and Customer interface
  • Project Performance
  • Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives
  • Manage and control subcontractor performance implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve commitments
  • Coordinate build and test of engineering hardware.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 4+ years of related Engineering experience.

  • PMP Certification.
