Job responsibilities (MUST):
- Support Technical Analyst to gather requirements for new products/line of business and state rollouts (to be implemented using Earnix).
- Analyze existing rating systems and configure Earnix for new products/line of business and state rollouts.
- Develop a plan to implement a new rating system using Earnix, covering estimation and roll-out roadmap. Work with the client stakeholders closely for sign-off of the plan.
- Create High Level Design (HLD)/Low Level Design (LLD) documents and work with the client for sign-off.
- Develop, test, and integrate the Earnix application with the client’s ecosystem. Performs premium match testing.
- Closely work with the actuarial team to help them simulate premium calculation/impact scenarios.
- Oversee the end-to-end integration of Earnix with downstream APIs.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, fix bugs, and deploy code.
- Lead and manage customer interactions, working with technical leads, architects, and business SMEs.
- Own the complete Earnix solution, ensuring on-time delivery with high quality.
- Emphasize quality standards and follow best practices to meet customer expectations.
- Supports EY Rating CoE with RFP responses for multiple potential clients in the market.
- Excellent understanding of U.S. insurance industry (P&C – Commercial, Personal & Speciality).
- Run batches to up-skill/cross-skill EY internal team members and help expand Rating/Pricing CoE.
Additional skills/experience (Good to have):
- Experience in other pricing products, apart from Earnix. Example, Ratabase or Insbridge.
- Working experience with U.S. based clients on P&C domain.
- Understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter – experience in integrating Earnix with GW PC is an added advantage.
- Solid experience in client facing roles – driving workshops, helping client make design decisions, etc.
- Rich experience in working closely with actuarial team.
