Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to drive our testing efforts.You will be a part of the Software testing team for an IBM Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) product. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment across software architecture, understanding both client-side development as well as the server-side development.

Responsibilities:
- Develop test automation strategy for complex projects using Agile methodology
- Design, Create and execute test cases.
- Identify , verify and report defects
- Drive innovation and adoption of industry practices by investigating and institutionalizing new tools and methods.
- Ensure software application deliveries within the committed timeframe meeting the functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support and test for customer support cases.
- Work in a fast moving and forward-thinking development environment that is constantly researching and implementing using the latest technologies.
- Participate in, and adhere to, professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Code Management (git), and GitHub. Ensure good code coverage.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency with Computer Science/Software Engineering knowledge and contribute to the technical skills growth of other team members.
- Good team player.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in working as a QA/Automation.
- Good understanding of Agile methodology.
- Design, automate and execute robust tests on scalable framework
- Review and mentor junior team members
- Experience in working on a SaaS application with high industry standard CI/CD, and development cycle processes.
- Strong automation skills in Java, Python, Selenium/Selenide, TestNG.
- Awareness of Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in building automation frameworks with Java/Python
- API Testing
- Proficiency in cloud platforms – AWS and IBM Cloud.
- Experience in testing SaaS applications, databases.
- Knowledge of performance testing and Networking/Security fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills.
- Leadership skills
- Relevant certifications
