AS ENGINEERING DIRECTOR FOR THE UI TEAM, YOU WILL:
- Lead the teams to drive projects from idea formulation, to design, and to implementation.
- Drive great partnership with the product management team.
- Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and deliverables.
- Grow and build a strong, healthy, and diverse team through hiring as well as mentoring and coaching.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and cross-functional teams.
- Provide strong technical leadership to the team and partner teams.
- Build the vision for the team along with product management.
- 15+ years of experience in software development (ideally in the front-end web application field).
- 10+ years of experience in managing and leading teams including experience working with teams building rich web applications with the latest browser technologies.
- Strong track record of managing multiple teams with 30+ engineers.
- Strong track record of delivering large-scale front-end applications.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Extensive and strong development experience in cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, is a plus.
- Experience in building distributed systems is a big plus.
- Experience with data visualization technology is a plus.
- Strong hands-on skills. Can drill deep into the complex system design and implementation when needed.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.
