Department is at the forefront of our Custody service, as it ensures that the clients’ settlement instructions are appropriately received and screened against sanctions lists, which in turn allows them to settle in the market that we will promptly reflect on the clients’ accounts. Citi Direct Custody and Clearing owns and manages its own Network and provides asset servicing and transactions function primarily to intermediaries such as Broker Dealers, Banks, and other global investors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
• Generate and match trade confirmations according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates
• Complete settlement tasks and daily deliverables timely
• Coordinate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
• Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies

Must-have requirements:

• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience in custody, security services, banking, financial services, and/or data maintenance,
• Good command of English (B2/C1) – the role will involve direct contact with internal and external partners (e.g., custodians, brokers),
• Ability to learn new and often complex things quickly,
• Readiness to work in a high volume, time sensitive environment,
• Be prepared to work in the hybrid model (3 days from the office per week),
• Ability to build long lasting contact networks within the organization,
• Advanced MS Excel (vlookup, pivot tables – VBA will be an advantage) as an asset,
