Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle Database 12c/19c.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related cloud services.
Excellent command of Oracle tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Developer, and RMAN (Recovery Manager).
Excellent knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL: writing procedures, knowledge of built-in functions, subquery factoring.
Excellent understanding of Oracle analytics: how to interpret the execution plan of a query, execution statistics, execution plan cardinalities.
Experience with writing queries against big databases.
Good understanding of Oracle Advanced Queuing (both single-consumer as multi-consumer queues).
Good knowledge of Oracle licensing model.
Efficient working in Linux terminal (RedHat, CentOS) - bash scripting is a plus.
Good knowledge of cyber-security aspects, good knowledge of cryptography essentials.
Good command of virtualization technologies and docker.

Responsibilities:
Installation and Configuration: Set up and configure database management systems, ensuring they meet performance and application requirements.
Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor database performance, optimizing queries and parameters to enhance efficiency and response times.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to prevent data loss and ensure data availability.
Security Management: Manage user access controls and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
User Support and Documentation: Provide technical support and training for users, while maintaining documentation of database configurations and procedures for future reference.
Tasks:
Performs general activities for administration, management and maintenance of SaaS databases.
Performs scheduled maintenance and upgrade tasks on the customer databases in project delivery phase.
Develops Oracle PL/SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures to meet customer requirements for extracting business-intelligence reports.
Works with R&D teams to understand and optimize the database structure.
Analyses heavy loads on database and proposes solutions together with R&D.
Supports project operations team in ad-hoc troubleshooting tasks and maintenance tasks.
Keeps track of the typical database usage and works with pre-sales team to estimate database sizes and loads.
Writes and maintains the database structure document (generic and customer-specific) and trains customer on the subject.
Participates in the product verification process to identify database-related issues.
Participates actively in customer meetings and workshops, FAT, SAT and UAT sessions.
Respects the Agile - SCRUM development methodology and the practices derived from it.
