Job Description
  • Understood electrical system from incoming to distribution panels in production floors.
  • Monitoring of electrical systems with monitoring parameters identified to provide a means of knowing the performance of the electrical system. Troubleshooting if there is fault occurred.
  • Monitoring of electrical, N2 and water consumption and providing a report and trending to superior.
  • Fire-fighting systems – Monitoring, testing and maintenance of the system to provide maximum protection to employees and assets. Ensure that:
    • Preventive maintenance schedule is prepared and maintained.
    • Coordinate all monthly preventive maintenance activity with Fire-fighting contractor.
    • Communicate with other department when testing is carried out.
    • Service records are filed and maintained.
    • Carry out weekly preventive maintenance and testing of fire-fighting equipment.
  • Monitoring of facilities equipment with monitoring parameters identified to provide a means of knowing the performance of this equipment. Troubleshooting if there is fault occurred.
  • Facilities equipment – This covers all facilities equipment identifies in the plant such as Air Handling Units, Makeup Air Unit, Air-Conditioners, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Compressors, Dryers, Exhaust Fans, Vacuum System, Lighting, City Water Tank, Fire-Fighting Tank, City Water Pumps, Piping Distribution and related.
  • Building Maintenance related troubleshooting if there is fault occurred.
  • Breakdown Issue/crisis (upset) management at off working hours, weekend, and public holiday.
  • Shift reporting.
Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Power Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical / mechanical field, facility equipment knowledge or troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate with competency certificate; certified by professional body will be an added advantage.

PREFERRED:

  • Able to manage routine workload and ad-hoc projects with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work independently as well as a team member.
  • Able to converse and write well in English.

  • Dynamic and strategic thinking during day-to-day activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, initiative, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
