In this role, you have the opportunity to
- Build a high growth business that will help improve the lives of millions of people in China, while advancing Philips marketing transformation as a global leader in Health Technology;
The purposes of this position are:
PR strategy supports the long-term goals of category growth and brand strength, with success measured by the extent to which Philips moves from being a nice-to-have to a must-have across its consumer product categories. Expand Philips Personal Health followers and fans, from current 6.7m (FY24) to 15m (FY25),25m in FY26 and 35m in FY27. Enhance category superior proposition to gain share of mind & share of voice among consumers.
He/ She plays an important role in ensuring world-class marketing by:
- Establish PR strategy and orchestra with global on PR framework that can well deliver brand strategy and proposition in China
- Build a network of China local media & health experts (e.g., dentists, dermatologists) and trend setters, to support ongoing PR efforts through speaking engagements and media commentary.
- Work closely with RBU to drive and elevate consumer CDJ experience to contribute on consumer scale and efficiency
- Develop category content thinking with best-practice facilities to improve organization-wide marketing proficiency.
- Communicate with global and BU marketing team to translate the strategies into PR & content strategy.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Strong and leading expertise in PR to connect impact with business result
- Strong ownership with good collaboration spirit
- PR proficiency & strong relationship with media
- Maturity to independently manage projects and strong influence power
- Entrepreneurial spirit, result-driven and strong analytical justification for all decisions;
- Strong English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal;
