As part of our unit, you will:

  • Set targets and do resource planning for your organization, based on the priorities of the product management.
  • Understand relevant business issues, the organization's operating procedures and connects these to work priorities.
  • Cooperate with other managers to reach organization goals.
  • Drive competence development for your people.
  • Proposes and follow up product, release, and individual targets.
  • Support and contribute to quality assurance activities.
  • Follow up and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Interpret policies. Ensures existing plans are put into operation.
  • Execute, oversee, and improve processes to meet customer needs.
  • Measure and improve Human Capital Index factors (e.g. motivation, authority, responsibility awareness) of team members.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • University (M.Sc.) or college (B.Sc.) degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Software development methods, experience with Agile and Lean practices.
  • Good communication skills, good command of English language.
  • Good management and interpersonal skills.
  • Good cooperation, decision making and conflict handling skills in an international setup.
  • Planning, organizing and risk analysis skills.
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines and quality guidelines.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with delivery services, understanding Nokia delivery
  • Knowledge of Nokia organization strategy, goals and objectives.
  • Preferably more than 5 years of experience as member of Telecom/IT projects.
  • Preferably experience with people management (team leading, coordination work).
