As an Application Developer, you will help drive our Innovation Studio team by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. You will play a critical role in our success by transforming vital business needs into code and driving innovation. Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

• Designing and developing brand-new experiences that showcase AI enterprise use cases with our new watsonx and hybrid cloud platforms
• Collaborating with our developers, architects, and industry experts to shape the creation of inspiring showcases that deliver tangible impact for our customers
• Developing applications (cloud-native, mobile, etc) for showcases, demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept for client use cases
• Implementing fun and interactive, yet reliable, performant, and secure solutions by applying agile methods

Minimum salary starts at 3.500 EUR/month depending on previous experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with modern application development methods and frameworks, preferably Node.js, TypeScript, Python.
• Full stack development experience
• Understanding of generative and traditional artificial intelligence concepts or Infrastructure aaS and Platform aaS principles, including common deployment and architectural patterns, both on-prem and in the cloud
• Solid analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience creating innovative business relevant ideas and solutions
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ability to demonstrate creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
• Experience with software architecture design and data and systems integration
• Experience demonstrating AI solutions through the creation of hands-on prototypes
• Demonstrated technical documentation skills
• Experience with relevant security and privacy requirements and techniques
• Experience working in an agile environment
