Key Responsibilities:
Compliance:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Stay updated on changes to laws and regulations that affect payroll processes.
Reporting: Work with payroll vendor for preparing accurate payroll reports to direct manager for review and approval, including payroll summaries, tax liabilities, tax returns (quarterly and annually) and other payroll related reports as required, and ensure timely submission of all statutory filing and payroll taxes filing.
Systems knowledge: Strong in Excel (data analysis, reporting, and payroll calculations) and words, experience on Workday and ADP Celergo is an advantage. Work with HR teams and other departments to ensure data in HR system and vendor’s system is integrated and functioning properly.
Audits and Reconciliation: Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure accuracy. Work with Finance and other department to reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate payroll processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Develop and document payroll procedures and policies.
Assistance in any ad hoc project to be assigned when request.
Experience : 2+years of experience in end-to-end set payroll processing.
: Experience of handling APAC countries payroll will be an added advantage. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines; Strong in Excel (data analysis, reporting, and payroll calculations); Experience on Workday and ADP Celergo
