In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Network Architect for Cloud, you will be technical leader in the areas of practice. You bring deep experience and strategic insight spanning from Architecture, Design and Development leadership to client facing solution skills which are among the best in the industry. Proven practice and knowledge on Cloud based software development and tools, consummate thought leadership, constant innovation and contribution to development of industry standards would be some of the key result areas in addition to meeting business metrics for the respective areas.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Total exp 12+years of experience in the telecommunications field in managing and deployment of mid to large enterprise networks
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre network architectures, enterprise design and industry standards relevant to data communications / networking and computing.
• Knowledge of setting up SDN and VSX and supporting the same.
• Knowledge of command structures and system component relationships for latest generation Network and Security infrastructure.
• Knowledge in CISCO Switches (Cisco Catalyst), Firewall (Checkpoint, SonicWall, Fortigate), Transceiver, PROXY, Router, DNS, VPN, WAF and IPS etc

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Possess Sonicwall Related Certification will be an added advantage
• Good understanding on managing applications at scale and how Cloud could address problems faced when designing for distributed scalable applications that are deployed across regions.
• Knowledge of Micro services and Cloud Native
