Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager with a track record of successfully leading teams in developing critical software.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer with a deep understanding of backend software development and a high-level understanding of frontend development.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to encourage and empower a diverse team.
- Ability to work with product management and shareholders to drive vision
- Validated ability to deliver high-quality software products on time and within scope.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ownership of product and team success, with strong engineering craftsmanship and practical problem-solving.
- Experienced in leading consumer-first product teams, managing multiple teams through tech-leads and managers, and proven collaboration with teams across time zones.
- Current with relevant technologies and skilled in effective implementation, with a strong background in distributed systems.
- Naturally curious and dedicated to continuous learning.
