Responsibilities
- Prepare building energy models using IES,eQUEST,Energyplusto support sustainable designs and green building rating compliance.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Gather and interpret facility data from drawings and clearly document all assumptions in reporting format.
- Read and understand project documentation of energy / sustainable design related systems & requirements related to calculations and standardized energy compliance templates.
- Analyze and optimize building energy systems & design (Lighting, HVAC, Envelope, Passive systems etc.) performance using software tools, spreadsheets, and manual calculations.
- Acquainted with ASHRAE, LEED, GRIHA, IGBC, ECBC & other international standards pertaining to sustainability requirements.
- Perform code compliance analysis by evaluating prescriptive requirements, andwhole building performance.
- Experience of undertaking green building assessments
- Experience of parametric modelling and computation design techniques is preferred not essential.
