Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead the Product Quality Group, overseeing the quality assessment of different product lines.
• Maintain and drive the execution of BMC Quality Management System
• Conduct comprehensive Quality plan and Quality Assurance reviews for diverse product lines.
• Spearhead the development of Quality policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Champion the enhancement of development processes to align with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, including the improvement of QA tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements for product development and ensure they are integrated into the development process.
• Conduct regular reviews of QA processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain QA metrics and KPIs to measure and improve product quality.
• Manage and analyze organizational quality-related data, presenting insights to the leadership team.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence
• Communicate Quality issues, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Provide hands-on support in managing and driving quality initiatives.
Qualification: BE/BTech OR equivalent experience in software for systems and/or applications. A master’s degree in computer science or related disciplines is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing QA processes in a software development environment.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Drive the adoption of quality assurance tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Quality assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB,CQI, PMI etc. ) are desirable but not compulsory.
