Direct Production (DPO) associates with the issuing of material to the production line, running the production line, conducting testing and quality controls, packaging of products, staging products, and releasing of products to the delivery. Contains disposal of waste, the maintenance of machinery and equipment, and the production site as such.

• Works within clearly defined guidelines, standard operating procedures and / or technical methods with regular supervision.• Evaluates and selects appropriate alternatives from defined options and makes judgments based on the analysis of information to solve standard problems.• Works on limited professional engineering assignments to implement, maintain and develop methods and processes in a specific competence area.

Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems. Manages own time to deliver against tasks set by others.Most work carried out according to specific instruction and set procedures. Requires close supervision and coaching from SLM or peers.Skilled in multiple technical/admin areas in own function/product. Vocation training/qualifications required. Typically in position 2-3 years based on performance.
