Essential Responsibilities:
Define and execute the long-term roadmap for the merchant and consumer crypto wallet, spanning earn, spend, borrow, and lend functionalities aligned with company-wide financial services goals.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver wallet features such as staking, payments, and lending/borrowing, driving measurable engagement and adoption.
Establish a cohesive product vision and strategy across PayPal, enabling scalable financial platforms that integrate digital and traditional ecosystems.
Translate customer insights and market trends into clear product requirements and use cases that balance innovation, compliance, and business impact.
Influence architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions meet security, regulatory, and performance standards while achieving profitability.
Build strategic partnerships with blockchain networks, financial institutions, and technology providers to expand capabilities and accelerate time-to-market.
Champion consumer protection and trust, embedding best-in-class fraud prevention, safety, and transparency into every wallet experience.
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to meet global standards for licensing, KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions, and data protection.
Use analytics and research to define success metrics, optimize retention and monetization, and guide executive decision-making.
Lead and mentor teams while driving operational excellence through reviews, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven prioritization.
Expected Qualifications:
10+ years relevant experience in product management, fintech, or payments and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years in crypto, blockchain, or digital assets.
2 years of experience leading others
Proven track record of launching and scaling consumer-facing financial products (wallets, payments, lending/borrowing).
Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, token economics, wallet infrastructure, and compliance frameworks related to digital assets.
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance growth, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $188,000 to $323,950
