JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a portfolio of multiple programs in various stages/ phases, from ideation/concept to launch, with an eye for detail in managing Schedule, Cost, Scope
  • Ensure accuracy in cost budgeting, schedule, forecasting and reporting to/at various stakeholders/ leadership levels
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs with strong focus for On Time Delivery
  • Continuous focus to improve program cycle time, phase gate adherence/ compliance, revenue say/ do
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects, characterize risk and adhere to schedule
  • Strong in wall-to-wall stakeholder management that includes internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identifies risks along with mitigation, contingency. Regular tracking, management, communication of risks and dependencies.
  • Drives the translation of business case/ concept into pragmatic plan with deliverables across engineering and other functions
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in getting the required deliverables for different phase gates
  • Communicate proactively and reporting out status of the programs effectively with stakeholders and leadership at all levels of the organization
  • Uses a Line-management focus to drive the right engineering results and achieve readiness for commercial launch, with the right metrics and tools that provide high predictability and quality to stakeholders and senior execs alike
  • Effectively builds partnering relationships with 3 rd party suppliers, evaluation, interface and management where required
  • Proficient in negotiation and influencing in a global setup. Presents the problem and solution eloquently to help arrive at stakeholder consensus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.E/ B Tech/ MCA with 15+ years of experience that includes 8+ years of NPD/NPI program management experience
  • PMP or PMI-ACP Certified
  • Hands-on exposure to software programs
  • Experience to agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe). Catalyst in transforming organizational culture to bring in agility & predictability in delivery.
  • Experience in managing large and complex programs
  • Familiarity with Accolade, Atlassian Tools, Microsoft Project Plan, any Procurement tool, any Effort Management tool
  • Strong teamwork, results orientation and organizational skills are a must
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated problem solving and decision making
Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell _______________________ [SBG / Business]. You will be the technical leader and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical issues. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance.
