Description
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- Control system integration, analysis, and testing for actuators - Prototype, develop, bring-up, debug and characterize new control techniques on real hardware.- Perform tuning & calibration on one off actuated systems - Communicate progress multi-functionally (written, verbal, and presentation) - Perform failure analysis and problem solving- Develop measurement methods and equipment that are repeatable, reproducible, and automated to enable validation coverage of actuators and sensors- Travel to supplier facilities and manufacturing sites for production validation and - issues resolution
Key Qualifications
- Strong fundamentals actuation, control systems design, and motor control.
- Skilled in rapid integration, prototyping, calibration and testing of actuated and sensor systems.
- Experience with embedded systems development, analysis and bringup.
- Expert in Matlab and Simulink with direct experience with deployment on real time target systems such as dSPACE, Speedgoat, or National Instruments HW systems.
- Experienced with serial communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C, BISS, etc…
- Experienced in test and debug of physical systems (sensors, actuators, algorithms)
- Strong in data analytics, root cause analysis with emphasis on data introspection
- Experienced with hardware in the loop (HIL) automation
- Experience with C/C++ development
- Confident with source control (eg. GIT) on multi developer projects
- Proficient at English(Listen, Oral, Written, Read)
Education & Experience
- BS or MS in Engineering or CS + minimum of 10 years of industry experience
Additional Requirements
- - Experience in state estimation deployed on real time hardware
- - Experience in sensor calibration for IMUs, Encoder, Optical Sensors
- - Experience on control system design, modeling and implementation-moto
