As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Platforms, you will:

• Help build / integrate innovative products and solutions to work with industry leading data and analytics platforms

• Maintain knowledge on industry innovations, trends and practices to curate a continual stream of incubated projects and create rapid product prototypes

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience (internship experience does not apply)

• At least 2 years of experience in building software solutions using one or more of the platforms, tools or concepts listed below:

  • Knowledge Graph / Ontology

  • Apache Spark & Spark SQL internals (e.g.: Catalyst Optimizer)

  • Query engines (e.g.: Presto) & OpenTable formats (e.g: Iceberg)

  • Databricks

  • Snowflake

• At least 2 years of experience in building software using at least 1 of the following: Scala, Java, Python

• At least 2 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
