The Alliance Investments Program Supervising Associate will be responsible for providing ongoing Investment Program support as part of the broader global Ecosystem Relationship Enablement function. The incumbent will provide support for a combination of Alliances, ensuring seamless service delivery for ongoing initiatives and will also be responsible for executing special projects that are assigned from time to time. The incumbent will report to the GDS Alliances Investment Program lead.
Your key responsibilities
- Generic mailbox management – proactively assign emails and respond in a timely manner.
- Perform actions in the Service Now workflow tool and follow up with internal teams to complete pending tasks.
- Reconciliation of project activities to ensure completeness of claim submissions and expenses booking.
- Provide support for timely tracking, submission and reporting of activities for reimbursement claims.
- Reporting support for Alliance Leadership team in relation to budgeted vs. Utilized.
- Identify issues in workflow and escalate as needed to resolve the issues.
- Data validation, maintaining internal controls compliance to meet Internal and External Audit requirements.
- Work with Investments lead for preparing and maintaining Program dashboards.
- Execute all tasks delegated by the GDS investments lead – adhere to required timelines and quality standards.
- Manage onshore stakeholder expectations, plans and communication.
Skills and attributes for success
- Good project co-ordination skills – be able to follow up on and execute tasks assigned in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills (English) – written and oral, strong business writing skills is essential, with the ability to create content independently with limited initial input or guidance.
- Good practical knowledge of the principles of accounting, should have experience with working with high-value GL accounts and preparing related reporting.
- Should have some exposure to planning and budgeting exercise, practical knowledge of working with large budgets which include budget preparation, administration, control and reporting.
- Experience in working with Finance systems, preferably in a SAP or Oracle environment, knowledge of Tally would be an added advantage should be familiar with data representation and interpretation.
- Ability to work with senior onshore stakeholders, excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, should have the ability to develop trusted business advisor relationships with onshore stakeholders.
- Should have experience with virtual working preferable across multiple geographies, including cultural sensitivity, with a global mindset.
- Experience working with Alliance/Partner programs in a professional services or technology company.
- Knowledge of EY & GDS operations, incl. org structure, operating model, management information systems, independence concepts, etc. (for internal candidates), Big 4 consultancy exposure with experience in leadership support/strategic environment (for external candidates.
Educational qualification
- Graduation in Commerce (or Business Management, Administration)
- Masters in Commerce or MBA (Finance) preferred
Technologies and Tools
- MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting and PowerPoint
- Excel — Pivot tables, look ups, filtering, conditional formatting, validation
- PPT — insert graphs or shapes, alignment, text justification, text margins
- Excellent data handling skills
- Familiarity with maintenance of SharePoint sites
- Knowledge of using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau
Experience
- 8+ Years of relevant work experience
- Experience of interacting with geographically dispersed professionals strongly preferred
