What a typical day looks like:
- Perform thermal analysis and simulations using Ansys software, particularly focusing on thermal management and heat transfer solutions.
- Utilize Ansys for modeling and simulation of physical effects in 3D and 2D environments.
- Conduct finite element method (FEM) assessments with SolidWorks integration for ensuring design integrity.
- Analyze tolerances and their impact on thermal performance in engineering designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights into thermal performance and optimization.
- Provide virtual simulations of physical effects to predict real-world performance effectively.
- Maintain basic financial understanding for project budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
- Communicate findings and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a similar position.
- Fluent English.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in thermal simulation software, especially Ansys.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and ability to perform finite element analysis.
- Basic understanding of financial principles related to project management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to travel.
