JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Preferred qualifications:
10 years of experience with investigations, legal, and regulatory matters, including strategically addressing and minimizing risk.
Experience handling or responding to data security incidents.
Experience developing, evaluating, and maintaining programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.
Experience engaging with law enforcement and authorities for criminal referrals.
Experience working with technology companies, with the ability to understand technical issues.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, consumer protection, antitrust, contract, content moderation/safety, employment, or IP law issues in a technology context.
