General Profile:Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression. Typically has knowledge of and exposure to fundamental industrial engineering and Logistic theories and apply these to improve our logistic processes.

Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance from logistic management.

Key Responsibilities:

May provide cost analysis and return on investment calculations associated with project selection.

Help implement software solutions for logistic control, monitoring and reporting. Conducts ergonomics / human factors evaluations, recommend and implement improvements to work area designs.

Calculates and maintains capacity data for materials processing, people, space, and equipment associated with Logistic processes.

Suggest and establishes standards and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.

Other Requirements:This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, and in general working in a logistic warehouse environment.

Functional Knowledge:Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline.

No supervisory responsibilities. Accountable for developing and implementing technical and process improvements.

Problem Solving:Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems. Analyzes information, data and standard practices to make judgments and improvements.

Works within standardized procedures and practices yet suggest and implement process improvements to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Interpersonal Skills:Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
