In this role, you will be a key owner within our cross-disciplinary team that includes Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Applied Scientists and execute on our 3 Year Plan. You will collaborate closely with Software Engineers from other teams to help deliver multi-lingual experience. This includes working with front-end engineers across Paragon Case Management System, data engineers building data pipelines and Science/ML teams leveraging our NLP capabilities. We use a variety of technologies and platforms including: Java, Python, TypeScript, AWS ML/AI solutions, AWS Compute & Storage solution.Key job responsibilities
As an experienced Software Development Engineer, you will help drive global expansion of our applications and services by partnering with other technical teams to integrate our content analysis capabilities, leading the development of new NLP offerings and improvements, and collaborating with your peers to improve our system through the deprecation and consolidation of legacy components. You will participate in the design, development, implementation, testing and documentation of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems and services using Java, Object Oriented Design and Distributed Programming. You will contribute to the team’s sprint planning cycles, design reviews, code implementation, testing and operations processes.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
