As a Software Development Engineer in the team, you will build Android based components and APIs that power seamless partner integration with our Live TV services. You will incorporate the latest automation frameworks to scale your contributions across Fire TV's entire product line up.Key job responsibilities- Develop and maintain Live Middleware functionality and APIs, as well as automated testing frameworks- Instil best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver quality workNo process is set in stone and we believe in constant incremental improvement.

- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience in Android Development

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
