Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you will:- Autonomously drive the projects through the Software Development Lifecycle, i.e. Design, Implementation, Testing, Monitoring
- Be responsible for the architecture of software solutions, determining current limitations and compatibility between subsystems, the selection of new concepts and methodology, and the development of major features and services
A day in the life
On the AB Search team, Software Dev Engineer II work with Product Managers to understand the customer requirements, and then identifies/works on the areas in central search ecosystem that should be customized for enhancing AB customer search experience.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with Information Retrieval systems
